Viewing approval records
Use the Approval Utility List (HRUTAL) window to review approval code records created by the Approval Utility (HRUTAU). Each record processed by the Approval Utility, whether in test or live mode, has a results record you can view on this window.
Complete the following steps to view records from the Approval Utility:
- Open the window by typing HRUTAL in the Search field and pressing Enter.
- Review the following fields:
- Window: The window for the utility.
- Run By: Displays the name of the person who executed the Approval utility.
- Run Date: Displays the date the tool was used.
- Test: Select this option if you want to use the utility in the test mode.
- Entity: The entity for which the Approval Utility was run.
- New Approval Code: The new approval code the updated records received.
- Records Updated: The number of records updated.
- Employee ID: The ID for the approval update process.
- Effective Dates: The date range selected for the utility run.
- Record Type: The Record Type selected for the utility run.
- PCN: The Position Control Number associated with this utility run.
- Position: The Position code for the utility run.
- CDH: The Contribution, Deduction, and Hour code for the utility run.
- Benefit Plan: Select the Benefit Plan for the utility run.
- Old Approval Code: Select the approval code for records before updating.
- Error: Indicate if an error occurred while the utility was processing the given record.
- Message: Enter a detailed description of the error message.
Result: You have viewed approval records created by the HRUTAU utility.
